What is ICFC?

The ICFC is an international communications conference for marketing, forecasting and demand analysis. The ICFC is a professional forum for forecasters, demand analysts, market researchers, product managers, statisticians, academics, and consultants interested in the communications industry. The ICFC provides insight into and analysis of existing and emerging issues in communications forecasting, planning, demand analysis, market research and cost analysis.

Advances in technology, intensifying competition, and the evolving regulatory framework create opportunities and risks for all the industry participants. The evolving global communications industry affords unprecedented international competition and cooperation. Convergence has erased traditional industry lines between communications, information and entertainment providers, while technology is eliminating distinctions between wireline, wireless, and satellite services.

Success in this new environment requires detailed knowledge of customers, competitors and markets along with sharper focus on internal costs and efficiencies. How can customer behavior be understood in an environment of reduced regulation, proliferation of services, spiralling competition and the blurring of service distinctions? The ICFC is a forum for discussion and debate of these issues as they relate to forecasting, demand analysis, and empirical research.
